喂...to start phone conversation.“Hello..." greeting word which starts phone conversation.
    喂，我是小王。你是老李吗？ Wèi, wǒ shì Xiǎowáng. Nǐ shì Lǎolǐ ma? - Hello, I am Mr Wang. Are you Mr Li?

➋我在看书呢。
正在/正/在 + Verb: action in progress.
    他正在吃饭 Tā zhèngzài chīfàn. - He is eating food.
    我正做作业的时候，他来了 Wǒ zhèng zuò zuòyè de shíhou, tā láile. - When I was doing homework, he came.
    你在做什么？ Nǐ zài zuò shénme? - What are you doing?

➌他在学做中国菜呢。
呢 (ne): particle.It has several applications when it is used in the end of sentence.
(1) indicating that a previously asked question is to be applied to the preceding word, like "What about ...?", "And ...?"
    我睡觉了，你呢？ Wǒ shuìjiàole, nǐ ne? - I go to sleep. How about you?
(2) inquiring about location, like "Where is ...?"
    我的书呢？ Wǒ de shū ne? - Where is my book?
(3) signaling a pause, to emphasize the preceding words and allow the listener time to take them on board, like "ok?", "are you with me?"
    你想踢足球呢，还是打篮球呢？
    Nǐ xiǎng tī zúqiú ne, háishì dǎ lánqiú ne? - Will you play soccer or basketball?

➍我喜欢看电影。
喜欢 something/verb phrase. "like something/to do something". In Chinese verb phrase (Verb + Object) can act as anything. For example, it can be an abject after 喜欢, which is like "like to do something" in English.
    我喜欢吃米饭 Wǒ xǐhuān chī mǐfàn. - I like to eat rice.

➎她在工作呢，你下午打吧。
sentence + 吧 - to soften the suggestion
When you have a command asking someone to do something, use 吧 in the end to make the suggestion soften and more polite.
    我们去跳舞吧 Wǒmen qù tiàowǔ ba. - Let's go dancing.
    你和你同学一起打吧 Nǐ hé nǐ tóngxué yīqǐ dǎ ba. - You and your classmate can play together.
